If Satan entered Judas betray Jesus, is it possible that Satan entered Martin Luther to betray Jesus' Church?

In the present day, the Roman Catholic church is following faithfully and effectively Jesus Christ. In Luther's day that was not the case. One could argue that Luther's actions were a necessary precursor to the internal reformation that saved a corrupt and fallen institution. IMHO Catholics should honor Martin Luther as a Saint.
