Can't a find a satisfying first person shooter?

Okay I started FPS with Doom, then moved on to Goldeneye007 on the N64. Then Halo 1 and 2, Half Life 1 and 2, next came Call of Duty (all the way to the recent Black Ops). I've played Fallout 3 and New Vegas to death, and got that Goldeneye remake. After completion of FPS's I'm so unsatisfied. :( Call of Duty is too short, I can't play Halo anymore because no Xbox. Bioshock is good but there's nothing to do after beating it. Every one I try is either too short, too hard, or plain boring. Do I really gotta wait until Rage comes out? I'm getting really impatient and thinking about abandoningthe whole genre altogether.
