Ok am i the only one that's bothered by this?

No, bothers me to, Im an adult and people will still do it to me on here sometimes. Its actually one of my few major pet peeves, because you know that they arent trying to comfort you or be nice, they are doing it to be patronizing and treat you like a little kid, its like saying "oh arent you such a silly little girl for thinking that."
